Gail Cousins was born and raised in the Eastern Cape and relocated to the Western Cape in 2023. A naturally creative and multidisciplinary artist, she has explored a wide range of mediums over the years, from fabric painting to mosaic. Her primary focus is acrylic and oil painting, through which she captures the spirit of life in South Africa, its people, fauna, flora, and ever-changing landscapes. Gail’s work reflects her deep appreciation for the country she calls home, sharing its beauty and atmosphere with audiences around the world. Her artworks can be found in private collections across five continents. Alongside her own artistic practice, Gail is passionate about sharing creativity with others. She brings art to people through teaching classes and workshops, encouraging others to explore their own creative journeys.
